Barry MoskowitzBarry Moskowitz from Ferrotec, formerly Ferro Fluids Corporation, will give a presentation on Ferro Fluids, speaker design and construction, application in home and car audio systems. New advancements in research have expanded the range of ferrofluid products available to the speaker industry (automotive, consumer, pro-sound, mobile, etc).

Ferrofluids were introduced to the loudspeaker marketplace by Ferrotec (formerly Ferrofluidics) in the early 70’s.  Billions of speakers have been produced with ferrofluid in the voice coil assembly to improve performance and speaker life over the last 40 years.

Barry D. Moskowitz has 28+ years’ experience at Ferrotec with much of that spent in the core technology area, the Fluids Business Unit.  He currently serves as the General Manager of this business area.  His background consists of engineering and business degrees.

He is widely travelled with having been to approximately 200 different speaker manufacturing locations throughout the world over his working career.
