Jay Porter, Primacoustic Product Specialist, will be hosting Primacoustic clinics at various schools and music stores across Ontario in mid-May.
His clinics offer tips and techniques to turn any room into an effective workspace and how to acoustically treat a studio. He will discuss several acoustic problems and solutions including primary reflections, flutter echo, standing waves, and excessive bass. He will also demonstrate Primacoustic room kits, bass traps, diffusers, and clouds.

Porter began working as a live sound engineer after graduating with a degree in Audio Engineering from OIART in London, ON. He has worked with bands such as Billy Talent, Alexisonfire, Grady, and Sam Roberts Band. During his work as a sound engineer he designed, built, and managed recording studios before relocating to British Columbia and joining Radial Engineering and Primacoustic.
