Organizers describe the event as a huge success with positive vibes and a great overall atmosphere. CITT National Coordinator Monique Corbeil says the quality of the exhibitors and the visitors clearly demonstrates the need to produce and hold a trade show of that scale for the entertainment industry in Quebec. In addition to a sold-out exhibit floor showcasing pro audio, lighting, video, staging, and multimedia products and services, the event also featured seven educational sessions covering topics such as system networking, intercom over IP, training in production and stage techniques, and more.
“I’m very proud of the work done by my team – composed of Carole Desrosier, Joël Décarie, and Julie-Anne Poulin – in making this show a huge success, and we are all thrilled by the outcome,” says Corbeil. “This show was long overdue, and it’s a great feeling knowing that CITT/ICTS is behind its success.”
Organizers have already announced that Expo-Scène will be returning to a bigger hall at the Palais des congrès de Montréal on May 2nd and 3rd, 2016, with plans to increase the number of exhibitors, seminars, demos, and visitors.
