On Oct. 17, 2015 the International Music Software Trade Association (IMSTA) and Ryerson University will partner to host the second annual IMSTA FESTA Toronto, a product showcase and education event focused on music technology and designed for professional and semi-professional musicians, songwriters, music producers, and audio engineers, as well as music students and educators. It is a free event.
Organizers say their educational panels and Q&As will bring together an array of industry experts to discuss the state of the music business, technology, and more. Last year’s event include a keynote Q&A with American audio engineer, record producer, and DJ, Young Guru, as well as a Cooking Beats seminar with Rich Kidd and WondaGurl. Manufacturers and distributors will also be showcasing the latest music creation technologies at the exhibition.
