There are two days left to get a discounted registration rate for two one-day intensive crash courses on mixing and mastering being presented by Music Marketing. These one-day intensive courses will be held in Toronto on Saturday, Oct. 24th and Saturday, Nov. 7th respectively. Until Sept. 30, the early-bird registration rate is $195 for each course. After Sept. 30th, the registration fee is $245.
On Saturday, October 24th at the Rose Room Studio, veteran mixing engineer Jim Zolis will take attendees through the journey of mixing a pop song using plug-ins that are affordable and accessible to anyone interested in mixing. For over 35 years, Zolis has worked with award-winning artists like Celine Dion, Jane Siberry, The Nylons, Liona Boyd, Pavlo, Lenka, Shy-Anne, and Jack Grunsky.
Saturday, November 7th at the Lacquer Channel Mastering, Senior Mastering Engineer Noah Mintz will share close to 20 years of experience in the art of mastering with the attendees. Mintz has mastered thousands of albums and his sonic signature has been left on some of Canada’s most accomplished musical releases including; Broken Social Scene, Hayden, Great Big Sea, Sarah Slean, Death From Above 1979, and Sarah Harmer.
