SFM has announced that Jean-Michel Berezoutzky has joined the company as the coordinator of the TAG group. SFM’s AV Technical Application Group (TAG) acts as a direct link to customers and provides training, technical support, and design assistance for installations and concepts involving SFM’s products. The TAG group is present at all levels of the sale and acts as a resource for industry professionals such as integrators, consultants, production/rental companies, and engineers.
With nearly 25 years of experience in the professional AV industry, Berezoutzky has an extensive engineering knowledge as well as a strong managerial background. He began his career with Philips in his native France and has worked in Quebec for the last 20 years. His last position was at Stingray Business, where he was the chief AV Systems Engineer and was responsible for all technical designs and operation coordination. Prior to this position, he worked at Genesis Integration within their National design group and at Sono Video Montreal where he was also managing a large pool of AV installers. He has worked at TVA where he was managing the Project Management Office department with 10 technicians and five broadcast engineers. Finally, he’s been an AV consultant at Go Multimedia and Trizart Alliance.
As the coordinator of the TAG group, Berezoutzky’s main focus will be that all clients are met with high level service in a timely manner. He will also be organizing the daily activities of several engineers specializing in SFM’s separate lines to ensure that the group is run efficiently and professionally. SFM’s Director of Business Development, Sami Midani, adds, “Jean-Michel is organized, meticulous and takes pride in delivering something exceptional to customers and partners. Combining his expertise with the talented group of application engineers we have is a formidable combination that will take us to another level of excellence, and shows once again SFM’s willingness to invest in services that bring an added value to suppliers, customers and consultants.”
Berezoutzky says, “We have to give our customers the best service and make things easy for them. Without our customers, SFM wouldn’t exist so my main goal is that the customer is treated like a king.”
