Colin Beveridge, CEO of d&b Corporation since its inception in the mid 1990s has transferred his responsibilities for d&b audiotechnik in the Americas to the next generation as part of a planned retirement. Following the transition, Beveridge will remain on board as senior strategic advisor for the management team in the Americas and company headquarters in Backnang, Germany.

“Our review over the past four weeks allowed us to better understand our strategy, goals and business needs, and resulted in a change in how our management team is structured,” the company said in its announcement to clients and customers.

Dynaudio, the Danish high-end loudspeaker specialist, and its newly appointed CEO for North and South America, Andrew Werdean, has announced a number of key promotions, a new hire, extension of the Dynaudio reseller network, and strategic initiatives designed to build the company’s presence and improve the customer experience.

Werdean, who previously served as vice president of sales for the company’s North American business, is a CE leader whose 30 years of industry experience includes work with well-known manufacturers such as RTI, Klipsch, and Jamo, as well as the establishment of two successful installation companies. In leading the Dynaudio sales efforts, he has focused on extending the company’s integration business while overseeing marketing and product management.

Riedel Communications North America Promotes Jake Halverson to Operations Manager

In his new role, Halverson will manage the technical support and services department and liaise with clients and the factory to ensure that Riedel’s quality and customer service are maintained in the marketplace. He will also oversee logistics and sales administration, facilitating communication between departments.

TOA Canada Corporation, manufacturer of commercial audio and intercom products, has announced the appointment of Rico Lucia to director for TOA Canada Corporation.

In April 2017, Canada became one of only three TOA subsidiaries across the world to have a director appointed, joining South Africa and Hong Kong. The corporation has only appointed directors one other time in its history, in Europe. This alignment is part of TOA Corporation’s strategic business plan allowing subsidiaries have more autonomy within their region.

“We’re moving because we’re forced to, not because we want to,” store manager Sheldon Sazant told the Montreal Gazette newspaper.

The changes are designed to better address the growing market for acoustic materials, while adding the additional responsibilities of two other Radial brands, Hafler and Jensen Transformers, to the sales team’s tasks.
