Renkus-Heinz has announced a restructuring of key management positions. Effective June 1, 2016, and under the continuing leadership of company founder and CEO Harro Heinz, Sr. Vice President Ralph Heinz will assume the position of Chief Technical Officer, with Monika Heinz Smetona being appointed Chief Operating Officer.

Western Regional Sales Manager Ladd Temple has been promoted to North American Sales Manager covering the USA, Canada, and Mexico. Supporting his efforts Sr. Applications Engineer Jim Mobley has been appointed Technical Sales Manager, working with Temple on the U.S. business while also directly managing sales to South America.

Meyer Sound has announced the hiring of Andy Willcox as Sales Manager, Residential Systems and Daniel Rivera as Sales Specialist, House of Worship Market.

Andy Willcox will connect Meyer Sound products and technologies to a growing market for private cinemas and premium distributed systems in residences for high-net-worth clients. Willcox comes to Meyer Sound with three decades of experience in the residential AV market, both as an owner of a Midwestern systems integration firm and as VP of sales and business development at CINEAK, a supplier of furnishings for private cinemas. He served on the board of directors and executive board of CEDIA, serving as president of the organization from 2005 to 2006.

Humphrey  has global marketing experience in technology oriented businesses, with more than 20 years of executive marketing roles at companies that focus on IT related services, including enterprise software, embedded computing, storage networking, scientific instrumentation, and security.

Ontario-based Adamson Systems Engineering has announced the expansion of its North American support team. Richard Woida has joined the U.S applications group to reinforce Adamson’s growing client base in the United States.  Scott Shields has been hired as sales and marketing coordinator, working out of the Canadian headquarters.

Music Group Moving Tannoy Loudspeaker Production from Scotland to China

Music Group has announced that it proposes to dismiss as redundant around 70 staff at its manufacturing and office facility in Coatbridge, Scotland. The company says it is about to enter into a process of collective consultation with all affected employees, but in the event that the redundancies are confirmed following consultation, the Coatbridge facility would cease operations completely. In this event, the Tannoy loudspeaker production would be transferred to Music Group’s new manufacturing plant in Zhongshan, China, with its research and development and marketing activities being relocated to Music Group’s Innovation centre in Manchester, UK.

Solotech has announced that Mike Poirier has joined its Integration Division as Business Development Director for the broadcast market. Poirier will work within Solotech’s broadcast sales team.

Poirier joins the company with more than three decades of experience in the broadcast, AV, and post-production industries. “Mike has extensive experience in selling system solutions in both Canada and the US,” says Danny Berthelet, executive VP of Solotech’s Integration Division. “With his rich blend of technical expertise and his know-how in marketing and sales, he will be a valuable asset as Solotech steps up its efforts in the broadcast markets”.


Loud Technologies Appoints Loren Robinson to Mackie & Ampeg Sales Post
