Texas-based powered loudspeaker manufacturer BassBoss announced that it has appointed Anton Pukshansky to the new position of VP of sales. Pukshansky, who will report directly to CEO Lian Amber, brings over 15 years of professional audio experience with companies including Harman Professional, Loud Inc., Westlake Pro, and MW Audio Visual. He is also a multi-Grammy Award winning producer and engineer.

GCI Distribution Hires Brian Hogue as Ontario Sales Rep

GCI Distribution has announced the hiring of Brian Hogue as an Ontario sales representative.

Hogue has been active for more than 20 years in the retail and distribution business, from broadcasters, MI sales, and recording studio to video integration. As a sales representative, he was responsible for sales and encompassing over 20 brands, developing new business and servicing high end clientele such as dealers, studios, educational institutions, and broadcasters.

Shure adds Jamie Griffin as VP of Operations

Griffin comes to Shure from Lenovo, where he was director of operations, in its Global Supply Chain organization. Before joining Lenovo, he worked at Pentamaster, a material handling and automation solutions provider, launching and managing three sales and service operations in Europe and the U.S. Previously, he spent 10 years at Dell Computer, holding senior positions in operations and engineering. He designed and launched all of Dell’s manufacturing facilities in China, Malaysia, and Brazil.

Western Regional Sales Manager Ladd Temple has been promoted to North American Sales Manager covering the USA, Canada, and Mexico. Supporting his efforts Sr. Applications Engineer Jim Mobley has been appointed Technical Sales Manager, working with Temple on the U.S. business while also directly managing sales to South America.

He served on the board of directors and executive board of CEDIA, serving as president of the organization from 2005 to 2006.

Ontario-based Adamson Systems Engineering has announced the expansion of its North American support team. Richard Woida has joined the U.S applications group to reinforce Adamson’s growing client base in the United States.  Scott Shields has been hired as sales and marketing coordinator, working out of the Canadian headquarters.
